UConn Health in Simsbury: Complete Care, Close to Home
Comprehensive healthcare shouldn’t require a trip to a medical campus. As Connecticut’s only public academic medical center, UConn Health has been expanding its reach beyond its main Farmington campus through a growing network of community locations designed to bring the resources of a major health system directly into the neighborhoods that need them. The Simsbury facility on Hopmeadow Street in Andy’s Center Shops is a cornerstone of that strategy, offering an integrated array of primary, specialty, and diagnostic services to Farmington Valley residents who might otherwise face a longer drive for the same level of care.
Our team designed the modern outpatient space to make that access feel as welcoming as it is convenient. A naturally lit reception area with calming aesthetics sets the tone, leading patients into well-equipped examination rooms enhanced by state-of-the-art technology. The facility supports services ranging from internal medicine and orthopedics to women’s health, connecting patients to the expertise of more than 450 UConn Health physicians across more than 50 specialties.
One Roof, Full Spectrum
Beyond standard medical office programming, the Simsbury location houses a laboratory, blood draw station, radiology department, and casting room, creating a complete care experience under one roof. For patients managing ongoing conditions or coordinating across specialties, having diagnostics and treatment in the same visit eliminates the scheduling complexity that so often gets in the way of staying on top of their health. It’s academic medicine made local, designed to feel like the community resource it was always meant to be.
