Corey Campbell, RPLS, Geographic Discipline Leader | Survey & Geospatial Services
Corey doesn’t just manage survey projects: he builds the teams and systems that power them. As Texas Geographic Discipline Leader, he brings over two decades of experience to the table, with a career forged on the technical front lines and shaped into the strategic leadership that drives results today.
While his expertise covers the full spectrum of surveying—from complex boundary analysis and ALTA surveys to advanced LiDAR processing and GIS integration—Corey’s real value lies in his ability to translate high-level data into actionable project intelligence. He has navigated some of the industry’s most demanding environments, including TxDOT utility corridors, Harris County Flood Control analysis, hyperscalers, and commercial developments.
“In this field, technical proficiency is the baseline,” Corey says. But for him, the real differentiator goes deeper: “What truly sets a practice apart is accountability. Clients need to know that the person signing off on the work is as invested in the project’s success as they are.”
Over the past year, Corey has focused on scaling a statewide network of localized survey expertise across Texas. By strategically positioning licensed professionals in key markets, he has ensured that clients have immediate, local access to leadership-level decision-making, regardless of the project’s location.
Corey knows construction is unpredictable and that timelines rarely hold. His answer to that reality was intentional team design. “We put the right people in the right places so that when a challenge arises, there’s a local expert who already knows the project and can respond in real-time,” he says.
At the center of Corey’s leadership is a culture built on honesty and integrity. Keeping talent, technology, and capacity entirely in-house means every project moves through a streamlined lifecycle; free from subcontractor markups and communication gaps. The result is a survey and geospatial division that offers clients the best of both worlds: the deep regional presence of a local firm backed by the full resources and bandwidth of a national powerhouse.
