The Port of Miami is the largest passenger port in the world, and one of the largest cargo ports in the country. It wasn’t until just a few years ago that the Port of Miami Bridge was the only gateway to this port. Colliers Engineering & Design had the pleasure of performing bridge inspection services and load rating analysis and reporting to this economic engine. As a subconsultant, scope also included structural, pavement, field and underwater inspections and reporting for the old bridge and railroad bridge approaches.
