DENVER, CO – Colliers Engineering & Design, a national multi-discipline engineering and architecture consulting and design firm, is pleased to announce it has hired Mitch Tweedy as Department Manager in the Survey/Geospatial Discipline of our Denver, Colorado Office.

Mr. Tweedy brings more than 15 years of experience to Colliers Engineering & Design, working across multiple disciplines and client types to provide advanced aerial, mobile and terrestrial survey scanning data. Mr. Tweedy has managed projects nationwide while specializing in large, remote topographic surveys in the western U.S.

“Mitch has extraordinary experience in aerial survey, yielding over 400,000 acres of topographic survey data from across 146 projects last year,” said Patrick VanHaverbeke, PLS, Discipline Leader, UAS Services for Colliers Engineering & Design. “His expertise in large-scale project management and connections in the West will be of great asset to us and our clients.”

Mr. Tweedy also is a certified small Unmanned Aerial System (sUAS) Remote Pilot, with more than 30 approved Certificates of Waiver or Authorization (COA).  His wide of experience with survey technology will greatly benefit our clients.

A graduate of Doane University located in eastern Nebraska, Mr. Tweedy has developed long standing and meaningful relationships with clients in the Midwest and Mountain states.
