“We are happy to have Jeff on our team to lead our GIS Asset Management services in the Colorado and Southwest regions of the US,” said Suzanne Zitzman, GISP, Discipline Leader of GIS Asset Management Services for Colliers Engineering & Design. “His strong background in Esri technology, coupled with federal level GIS implementations will provide additional client types and ability to service regions that need our expertise.”
Formerly a Solution Engineer for Esri, Mr. Pearson assisted in the development, improvement, implementation, coordination, and demonstration of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) software and databases in establishing plans, policies, and procedures for federal, state and local agencies across the United States. Esri is the global market leader in GIS and developer of ArcGIS, a powerful mapping and spatial analytics software.
Based in the science of geography and global positioning systems (GPS), GIS is a web-based technology used for collecting, managing, analyzing and integrating highly detailed geospatial data about a wide variety of assets. Primarily used in the governmental markets to accurately locate, map, track and maintain assets, other GIS markets include oil & gas, telecommunication, transportation, agriculture, construction, mining and logistics.
